Cal henderson talk at fowa was fun even if most of it meant nowt to me!
could do with a powernap FOWA has been interesting but seems long and quite a few sessions to go yet!
seems like alot of my sms twitters have failed to get through this morning which is a pity: Kathy Sierra talk was amazing..
Morning sessions ok but nothing matched first talk. Having lunch outside now its a bit cold!
looks like panic is over as kathy sierra just showed up - glad i’m not running this event - v v stressful!
found a spot at FOWA but forgot power cord - d’oh! sounds like Kathy Sirerra is not coming - bad news
At FOWA and the crowd is starting to build. Not suprisingly very techy looking crowd
booked taxi for morning at 07.45 so will be at Carnival Centre in plenty of time - looking forward to FOWA now..
finally found a working ATM and celebrated by going to dodgy Aussie themed steak house - food ok and company fun though so success!
after taking an hour to chill out and cool down time to go back out exploring Miami - and not just the beach this time!
Having lunch sat outside a cheesey italian place drinking peroni and eating a meatball sub! Feel like tony soprano!

More effort than i expected to get drunk here in miami! Took an hour to find a bar i could deal with.
5 bottles in an hour and just got asked if i was going to be ok! Its only 2 pints!
At my local they would complain i was drinking too slow!
Am in miami took forever! Hotel too posh well out of my element off to find a dive bar!

heading for Parkway station for the first leg of my trip to Miami - a night in a dodgy Travel Inn to prevent terrifying early start tomorrow
got through the Virgin online check-in system with minimal pain - even managed to get a better seat - s’pose better do some work now!
this time tomorrow will be settling in to my seat on Virgin Air (after trying in vain for an upgrade!) ready to jet off to Miami..
..first though have to get through another day of back-to-back meetings!

just bought some noise cancelling earphones on the spur of the moment for flight to miami - not sure they are much good though - oh well!
